Our Features

EBNI integrates sustainable practices into our engineering processes, aiming to minimize environmental impact and promote long-term ecological balance.

Anti-Slavery Assistance

This is the principal source of building regulations, encompassing design, construction activities, and performance standards for buildings. The Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth) serves as a framework for transparency, mandating that businesses exhibit their dedication to the fight against modern slavery through the reporting of their initiatives aimed at identifying and mitigating risks present in their operations and supply chains. Further information regarding our policy on modern slavery & worker welfare is available for your perusal, crafted with the assistance of NSW contemporary slavery factsheets tailored for small enterprises.

Performance-based code:

Buildings and plumbing and drainage systems in Australia are required to adhere to the National Construction Code (NCC), which is a standard set of technical requirements. The Australian Standards for building codes board publishes and maintains it in conjunction with the federal government of Australia and the governments of each state and territory.

The code establishes minimal standards for sustainability, health and amenity, accessibility, fire safety, and access and egress. It is performance-based.

Engineered Legislation

We fully comply with the Home Building Act 1989 (NSW), ensuring all residential construction projects adhere to statutory requirements. We maintain a valid contractor license authorising us to undertake residential building work, as stipulated under Section 4 of the Act. Our commitment extends to upholding statutory warranties, guaranteeing that our work is performed with due care and skill, aligns with plans and specifications, and utilises suitable, new materials unless otherwise specified. This comprehensive approach ensures our clients receive services that meet legal standards and industry best practices.
